Each Zentangle is a work of art and a ceremony, and should thus be respected by using the highest quality of art supplies as possible. The paper that you choose to create your Zentangle upon shouldn’t just be standard flimsy paper. Invest in fine printmaking paper. The paper you choose should be plain white. Paper that has been handmade or is textured is okay to use as long as it is free from any lines or patterns.
